Privacy Policy

LiftLog is operated by Ajinkya Sunil Awalkar, at Nathani Heights, Lamington Road, Marzaban Parsi Colony, Mumbai Central, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400 008. For anything in this policy, contact privacy@liftlog.in.

Only what the product needs to work. There is no advertising, tracking or profiling of any kind.

• Account — your name, email address and password (stored hashed; we never see it).
• Intake questionnaire — goals, date of birth, sex, height, weight, body-fat percentage, training experience and availability, equipment access, diet preferences and allergies, and lifestyle details such as sleep, stress and occupation activity.
• Health information — injuries, medical conditions and medications you choose to disclose, together with your signed health declaration and consent. This is sensitive personal data and is treated as such.
• Training data — workouts, sets, weights, reps, body weight, step counts and personal records.
• Media you upload — exercise form videos, meal photos, progress photos and voice notes.
• Messages — the feedback you and your coach exchange on a workout.
• Payment — for coaches only. Card details are entered directly with Razorpay and never reach our servers. We store your subscription status, tier and renewal date.
• Technical — error diagnostics if something breaks, so we can fix it.

Health data is only collected because a coach cannot safely program for you without it — an old knee injury or a medication that affects heart rate changes what you should be doing. You provide it by completing the intake form and signing the health declaration, and that signature and its date are recorded. You can decline any individual question; some may limit what your coach can safely prescribe.

LiftLog is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice. Your coach is not your doctor unless they happen to be one.

This is the part most people care about, so it is worth being exact.

• You can see everything in your own account.
• Your coach can see your intake, training, check-ins, media and messages. That is the entire point of being coached — but it is the only sharing that happens.
• No other coach can see you. Access is enforced in the database itself, not merely in the interface, so one coach cannot reach another coach’s clients even through the raw API.
• Other clients — including your coach’s other clients — can never see you.
• We access your data only when you ask us to for support, or where the law requires it.

Photos, videos and voice notes are held in private storage. They are never publicly addressable; every view is served through a short-lived link issued against the viewer’s own permissions.

Media is deleted on a schedule that follows how quickly its usefulness decays.

If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain records — for example invoices for tax purposes.

Your data is stored in India, in Supabase’s Mumbai region. These are the third parties that process data on our behalf:

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete your data, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. Write to privacy@liftlog.in and we will respond within 30 days.

We set cookies to keep you signed in. That is all — there are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of.

LiftLog is not intended for anyone under 18. A coach training a minor must have consent from a parent or guardian, and that relationship is the coach’s responsibility.

If we change this policy materially we will update the date at the top and notify account holders by email.
